EMN is pleased to announce the addition of two concerts in Evanston next season, which we hope will be a good complement to the many superb programs that already exist in the Greater Chicago area. From our earlier discussion with representatives of several existing programs in the area, it became apparent that this could be a great opportunity to advance the cause of early music in general to audiences in both the Chicago area and in metro Milwaukee. To that end, we would welcome expressions of interest related to cross-marketing possibilities, such as exchange ads, purchased ads, calendar listings in programs and online, shared mailings, etc. Please feel free to contact me via phone or e-mail to discuss ways in which we might collaborate to create a greater awareness of all of our efforts. Two pdfs http://earlymusichicago.org/documents/EMN2005-06Season.pdf http://earlymusichicago.org/documents/EMN2005-06SeasonOrderForm.pdf are offered for your information – one is a description of EMN’s entire season, and the other is an order form. Both of the Evanston programs will be performed at First United Methodist Church. The dates and programs are: Friday, December 2, 2005 at 7:30 – The Boston Camerata with members of The Milwaukee Choral Artists – “A Medieval Christmas” Friday, February 3, 2006 at 7:30 – Ellen Hargis & Paul O’Dette – “Amour, Cruel Amour” We look forward to joining with you in presenting high-quality early music offerings, and to exploring ways to expand the audience base for all of us.
