I am searching for the history of the Chicago Bach Chorus. I am not certain of the exact name of the group, but hope to clarify some of its history. August Christian Phillip Schumann (23 Jul 1867 - 17 Jan 1940) is in my ancestry and he is supposedly a founder of the Bach chorus. Do you have any history on the group? I am uncertain whether the group merged elsewhere or is defunct.
