Ars Musica Chicago opens its 20th anniversary season with one of the most remarkable voices on the concert and opera scene today, countertenor Mark Crayton. He appears with noted fortepianist James Janssen in a program that features Mozart's Concert Aria: "Ombra felice...lo ti lascio, e questo addio," along with works of Beethoven and Clementi. "Opening Ears to Forgotten Beauty," Ars Musica Chicago is dedicated to innovative programming of music from the 9th through 18th centuries with historically informed performances, at interesting venues.
