Early Music at the Byron Colby Barn presents
T for Two
Telemann and Other Composers for Two Recorders
Sunday, February 11, 4pm
You are invited to the intimate, cozy setting of the Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake, Illinois for a program called T for Two. Patrick O’Malley and Lisette Kielson will serve flavorful selections for two recorders. Bask in the aroma as the twin ideas of imitation and variation steep through the centuries, from the medieval period to the twentieth century. T stands for Telemann, the composer featured on Lisette and Patrick’s two-disc recording Canons and Duos. Sandwiched between the sweet will be savory items composed by Thomas Morley, Hans Poser, Anton Kargl and Michel Blavet.
All concerts are on Sundays and cost $15 per ticket.
Children under 16 are free. A subscription to the whole series of six concerts is $72, a savings of $18. As always at the Barn, you may BYOB.

The Byron Colby Barn is located at 1561 Jones Point Road in Grayslake.
Directions: From I94, exit Route 120 west. Drive about 4.5 miles. At the intersection with Route 45, turn left
(south). Turn right at the next light, which is Jones Point Road. The Barn and parking will be on your left.
