Marion Consort- new group, upcoming concert!

You have two chances to see this new up and coming early music ensemble. On Friday, February 18th, we will be performing in Arlington Heights at the Methodist church on Euclid and on Saturday, we will be at Resurrection Lutheran church in the Wrigleyville/Lakeview neighborhood.
This 10-member ensemble will be performing pieces by the great composers of the Medieval and Renaissance periods. Selections include Machaut's Kyrie from the famous Messe de Nostre Dame as well as works by Des Prez, Hassler, and Victoria, among others.
Both concerts will be free of charge. Come and enjoy a night of wonderful music from this new group of talented musicians.
