new Early Brass discussion forum

We have opened a new Early Brass section of the Early MusiChicago Discussion Forum.
This new forum is for special discussion of early brass instruments and the music written for them.
Early brass instruments would include: the natural horn; the natural trumpet; other early trumpets, such as the slide trumpet and straight trumpet; the sackbut; and the cornetto and serpent.
In the wider world of brass instruments, early brass is a tiny minority. And in the world of early music, certainly here in Chicago, early brass has only a small presence. Here's hoping that the Early MusiChicago Early Brass Forum will be a haven to discuss a common special passion.
