We are thrilled to announce La Donna Musicale’s latest recording,

LA VIRTUOSA DI VENEZIA: The Unique Anna Bon.

This project brings to life recently recovered works of eighteenth-century composer Anna Bon, developed by La Donna Musicale through edition, arrangement, performance, and recording. The CD makes a significant contribution to Bon’s biography and known repertory. Sixteen talented musicians were joined by the extraordinary soprano Julianne Baird for this recording, under the visionary leadership of Laury Gutierrez and the musicological support of Indiana University’s David Lasocki.

To bring this wonderfully appealing music to CD, we also had a great technical team, including renowned Belgian-French engineer Nicolas Bartholomee.  We recorded in the superb acoustic space of Mechanics Hall in Worcester, MA.  Mechanics Hall is “ranked as one of the top four concert halls in North America and in the top twelve between Europe and America.”

We hope we can count on your help to enable everyone to enjoy this music.
