Scott Reiss, one of the world's great recorder players, long-time former member of the Folger Consort, and co-director (with his wife, Tina Chancey) of Hesperus, has died by his own hand at age 54.
Scott was a fabulous and prolific early musician.  His demise is a tremendous loss to us all.
