CARS Galhano recorder workshop April 2

On Saturday, April 2, 2005, the Chicago Chapter of the American Recorder Society will present an all-day recorder workshop, "Music Mosaic: The Art of the Recorder Ensemble from Renaissance and Baroque to Brazilian Swing", led by internationally-known recorder performer and teacher Clea Galhano.
The workshop will explore an approach to the rhythms, drama and form of the Spanish, Italian and English Renaissance, on through the structure of the German Baroque, to the Latin flavor of recent Brazilian music.
Cost: $50 for ARS members, $60 for non-members.
Location: Kretzmann Hall, Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois.
