Chicago area youth recorder ensemble...

Back in early 2002, recorder player and instructor Mary Anne Wolff Gardner ([url]http://earlymusichicago.org/soloists.htm#Mary Anne Wolff Gardner[/url]) launched a new recorder ensemble comprised of a group of students from the Oak Park and River Forest (Illinois) areas. The group, named Flauto Dolce by its members, made its debut performance at the CCARS (Chicago Chapter of the ARS) May 2002 recital.
Sadly, since that May recital, the group has slowly disbanded. Many of its members either could not find the time or just lost interest.
Now, only one member of the original ensemble and one newcomer are willing to play. As you can see, the group is seriously lacking in members and cannot conceivably work if more people do not join.
