Except for special events, we only list radio broadcasts one month in advance.  For many of these broadcasts, WFMT Radio is local to Chicago (98.7 FM in the Chicago area) but is also available on cable and over the Internet worldwide.  Note that WFMT will often broadcast early music in the 12:00 midnight-6:00 AM "Through the Night with Peter van de Graaff" program, also the 6:00 AM-9:00 AM "Mornings with Carl Grapentine" program.

Here of a Sunday Morning

Sundays, 9:00-11:00 AM EST.
(8:00-10:00 AM CST for Chicago and vicinity; same local times while Daylight Savings Time is in effect), live broadcast (WBAI, 99.5 FM, Pacifica Radio in New York, and since the early 1970s) of primarily early music, usually, but not exclusively in historically informed performances, with talk about the people who created it, and the conditions under which they made it.  Every month or two, there is a "New Releases" program, which presents new and interesting recordings, but otherwise the program explores the history of music in a reasonably systematic way.  To listen on-line, visit this site.
