The Newberry Consort will present a concert, "Harmonies of the Hemispheres: Devotions & Dreams of Spain & Mexico", featuring songs and hymns from the Newberry Library's precious seventeenth century Mexican choir books in Latin, Spanish, and Aztec.  Performers include Newberry Consort regulars David Douglass, violin; Mary Springfels, viola da gamba; and Drew Minter leading the vocal ensemble.  Pre-concert lecture at 7:00 PM.
