St. Peter's Presents opens its 2003-2004 season with the first in a year-long series of "Dynamic Duos" concerts, this one featuring Craig Trompeter and Liam Byrne playing viola da gamba and performing works by Schenck, Hume, Telemann, and Sainte-Colombe.

The Chicago Chamber Orchestra, Dieter Kober, conductor, will perform Handel's Water Music.

Saturday, September 20, 2003, 7:30 PM.
The Paul Lindblad Choristers will present its Fall Concert, featuring Sicut Locutus from Antonio Vivaldi's Magnificat, and works by Antonio Lotti, Heinrich Schütz, Georg Philipp Telemann, and William Byrd, as well as folk songs and traditional chorister favorites.

The Chicago Chapter of the American Recorder Society presents the Oak Park Recorder Society, the Tower Chorale, and friends performing (and reminiscing) in a memorial concert/service remembering David Fitzgerald, former director of the OPRS and major figure in Chicago early music, who passed away recently.  (The concert/service is the centerpiece of the regular September CARS meeting.)

A benefit concert for Ars Musica Chicago, featuring works of Handel, Rossetti, Bach, Haydn, and others, will be performed by Andrew Schultze, baritone; and Louis Playford and Enrique Alberto Arias, harpsichord/piano.
