Madison Early Music Festival

Saturday thru Saturday, July 12-19, 2008.
The Madison Early Music Festival brings world-renowned ensembles and artist/teachers together for eight days of workshop classes and a seven-concert series in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin.  There are opportunities for everyone, from those who simply enjoy listening to concerts and lectures, to early music scholars.  Performance opportunities are available for amateurs through professionals.  All listeners, singers, players, and dancers are welcome. 
MEMF 2008 will focus on the music of George Frideric Handel and the influences he received on his travels in Germany, Italy, and England.

Whitewater Early Music Festival

 
Friday thru Sunday, June 6-8, 2008.
The Early Music Festival at Whitewater is a weekend workshop held the first full weekend in June.  Activities include:  classes for all levels of recorder from beginning to advanced, reeds and wind band instruments, viola da gamba, and voice; vendor exhibits; informal late-night playing sessions; festival-ending concert; and much more.
