The Ars Antigua concert, "Mozart and More", at St. James Chapel (Quigley Chapel), Chicago, Illinois, on March 11, 2006.
Music by Mozart, Quantz, Sammartini, and Bach, including the Chicago premiere of the newly discovered Bach aria "Alles mit Gott und nichts ohn' ihn." Sound files from this concert here.
Featuring members of the Mirabel Quartet: Allison Edberg, violin; Martha Perry, violin; William Bauer, viola; and Debra Lonergan, violoncello; David Schrader, harpsichord; and Jerry Fuller, double bass, and Director of Ars Antigua.
Also featuring winners of the 2006 Ars Antigua-Midwest Young Artists Early Music Competition sponsored by Walgreens: Richard Day, flute; Madeline Sharp and Gerry Wawrzynek, violas; and Laura Osterlund, recorder.
