RecorderBasic music scale and interval exercises--comprehensive, systematic workouts for both mind and fingers. Practice them all, or selectively as needed. Don't forget to vary the articulations and rhythms! There are many sets of basic recorder exercises available elsewhere for F (alto, sopranino) and C (tenor, soprano) recorders, although perhaps not as comprehensive and systematic as these. Recorder scales and intervals practice sets for bass recorder and alto recorder up are harder to find. These musical exercises were designed for recorders, but you might also conceivably use them with other instruments. (They have been used effectively for sackbut practice, for example.) |
